Snowballing: Junior Religion Revision

Students were given individual sheets of paper and had to write down as many points on Martin Luther King and Mahatma Gandhi that they remembered. There should 2o points on each sheet. When finished the sheets were balled up and thrown into a box. Each student then picked a "ball"of paper from the box and discuss the points on the sheet with their partner. Any points that were not on the sheet could then be added. At the end of the exercise students were given a worksheet on Gandhi and Martin Luther King to be completed individually. By the end of the lesson every student had remembered the twenty points. Students found the exercise a fun way to revise
