Before teaching the topic "excretion", the students were asked to turn to their partner and to "think-pair-share" to see if they could tell me how many organs of excretion the body has. Then they were asked to "think-pair-share" again and to see if they could come up with the names of those organs and the product they excrete. The students had to use their prior knowledge of biology to come up with the answers. Which they duly did!!!!!
