Used a graphic organiser today to structure homework into main points. Good strategy - but I could have selected (or designed) a better organiser. Used the fish bone diagram today.
Student pointed out to me (quite politely!) that I'd broken one of our agreed rules. I'd responded to a student with his hand up - instead of observing all students' body language. Being kept on my toes!
Also, one very, very quiet student who is not quite fluent in English told me she didn't understand what was required of her - a breakthrough in her communication skills and confidence.
